We usually stay at the Rimkok Resort in Chiang Rai, but this time we decided to stay at a hotel in town. We chose the Wiang Come Hotel which was the most expensive of the in town hotels.

The hotel was nice, but it wasn't half as nice as the Rimkok so I don't think we'll stay there again. I know that the restaurant is nowhere near as nice as that at the Rimkok. I even would prefer the Dusit Thani on its own island to this hotel even though I didn't care for the hotel when we were there. It's a marble hotel, very cold and not at all homey. The Rimkok is elegant, also, but it's much friendlier.
