A Trip to the New Rainforest Cafe in Galveston (23 images) On Thursday, the 9th of April, we drove down to Galveston to check out the new Rainforest Cafe that just recently opened. We found the buildng and facilities to be outstanding, and the food was exactly like food in theme restaurants everywhere. The flowers are on my neighbor's patio. She has a really green thumb, and she gets rid of all of her flowers every winter and starts over again in the spring. Everything grows for her.
