The Franciscan church in Ljubljana, with its peach color and the lilac flowers blooming in front of it fascinated me. Its interior is as heavily adorned as are most European churches. The ceiling over the main altar of the church was lavishly painted, with a baroque pulpit, and a side altar adorned with a glass case in which the body of a martryed saint was displayed. At the right side of the church stands a statue at the right of Ljubljana's favorite son, Franz Presheren.
