Mo I Rana (26 images)
After the Arctic Circle Marker, we drove along the highway to the town of Mo I Rana, which means Mo on the Rana Fjord. A center for iron and steel, Mo doesn't have much of interest to tourists. It was there that we had the shocking experience of paying $26 for one small pizza and a Coke. Others in our group paid $10 for a microwaved hamburger at a video rental shop. Somewhere along the road we stopped in a small town that had a huge troll standing in front of the tourist information center.
