Kronborg Castle (28 images)
Shakespeare based his play HAMLET on the Danish myth "Amleth," and even though he never visited it, he used the Kronborg Castle as his setting. The castle was originally built as a tollbooth to collect money from those ships which crossed a thin strip of water between Demark and Sweden.
