THE SAMI MUSEUM (11 images)
The next morning we made another stop at another unusual museum, one devoted to telling the story of the original inhabitants of Lapland, the Sami people, who live also in Norway and Sweden. The main building was impressive with beautiful displays showing the lifestyle of the Sami and timelines indicating when they inhabited Lapland.

Outside there was a large open-air museum with buildings representative of the Sami lifestyle. Unfortunately, the mosquitos were so vicious, we saw very little of the outdoor museum.

We found some interesting hats in the gift shop and Laura modeled one for me.
