Something very interesting about the hotel was the clothes dryer we had in our bathroom. Actually it was a machine that took out the humidity of towels, but it worked for clothes, too, so we took advantage of it and washed all the clothes that needed washing and they were dry in a few hours. All hotels ought to have one of those.
Since the sun never sets in Saariselka in the summer, we were able to see the reindeer through our hotel room windows all night long.
