On the road out of Sabie I saw some clouds with sun rays that looked almost like a holy picture. I'd never seen anything that unusual and I snapped a few photos of them through the window of the bus. At the end of a beautiful day of driving through Mpumalanga, we spent the night on the Crocodile River at a hotel named appropriately enough the Crocodile River Hotel. It was an unusual hotel, and one I think I would have liked to spend some time at during the day. Unfortunately, we arrived late, and left early the next morning. The hotel consisted of several buildings. One housing the lobby, another the main dining room, and the rooms were in their own buildings. After putting our things in our room, I went out to check out the grounds. The entire place looked tropical, and I enjoyed walking about snapping photos until the mosquitos came out and chased me back to the room before I was able to walk down to the river and look for crocodiles.
