Knysna (73 images)
The name of this town is pronounced nize nuh. We stopped here for a restroom and shopping therapy stop. Started by George Rex in 1802, the town took its name from the Knysna Lagoon around which the town formed.

First we visited the waterfront, and then we went into town where we stopped at a shopping area. The store I found here was the best store on the whole trip. They had everything you could possibly want at prices that were equal to or less than other stores.

After Knysna we passed through some spectaculat sceney that is hard to appreciate in photos. We made a rest stop at a gas staion shopping center alongside the Storms River Bridge. The rest stop gas stations in South Africa are incredible. They not only have fast food resaurants and food stores, but they also have gift shops.
