You enter at ground level on one side of the impressive visitors' center and then walk up a circular ramp that takes you to the level of the actual entrance to the cave. There is an excellent gift shop and a theater with a movie explaining the history of the caves.
There are three tours that one can take of the caves. One is a short, thirty minute tour of the two most important chambers, and the second is an hourlong tour of six chambers. The third is one that goes into the bowels of the cave crawling through passages only a few inches high. We took the hourlong tour and were quite satisfied.
One of the things that most impressed me was a house built into the entrance of the cave. I meant to ask about it, but I completely forgot.
