Evidently the beautiful sunshine we saw in Port Stanley was a rarity. On the ship we had been told more than half of the cruise ships have to cancel their stop there because of bad weather. The Star Princess which we saw pulling out of port in Buenos Aires had had to cancel their stop the day before our visit. Even with the sunshine, though, the temperature wasn't very high--probably about 45.
