Downtown (68 images)
We visited downtown one day to go to the 60th floor of the tallest downtown building. The 75 story skyscraper was designed by I. M. Pei and was named by the architects association as the Building of the Year in 1982.

We parked along Buffalo Bayou behind the Spaghetti Warehouse and decided to have lunch in the haunted old warehouse first.

After a yummy lunch we headed down the street through Market Square and past the Rice Hotel where J.F.K. ate his last dinner and spent his last night on Noveber 21, 1963. The next day he was killed in Dallas.

After zipping up to the 60th floor and back down again, we took the escalators into the tunnel system and walked a couple of blocks underground.

Then, before heading home, we drove around the modern city to the ex-Enron buidling.
