We flew to Brisbane with one purpose. In 1982 the Koala Sanctuary in Brisbane was the only place in the world where you could hold a koala. We enjoyed ourselves mingling with those cuddly marsupials, and had our photo taken. It sounds so quaint today but in 1982 we had to wait to have our photo mailed to us.
